Instituto Banese approached us with an exciting yet challenging project: to create a 3D mascot that would resonate with their audience and effectively communicate their messages. The mascot, DinDin, needed to be engaging and versatile enough to be featured in various media, including advertisements and informational videos, particularly focusing on educating the public about avoiding scams.
Understanding the importance of a mascot that embodies both relatability and educational value, we set out to design DinDin with a friendly and approachable personality. We began by diving deep into the brand values of Instituto Banese, ensuring that DinDin would not only be a mascot but also a brand ambassador.
We started by researching and conceptualizing the mascot's design, aligning it with Instituto Banese's brand values. Our design team crafted initial sketches and 2D designs, transforming them into a detailed 3D model. Throughout the process, we engaged in focus groups to gather valuable feedback, which informed refinements to DinDin's design and ensured it resonated with the target audience. Once the design was finalized, DinDin was brought to life in a series of advertisements and informative videos, effectively communicating safety and awareness messages to the public.
The introduction of DinDin as Instituto Banese’s 3D mascot was met with overwhelming positive feedback. DinDin not only captured the hearts of the audience but also effectively communicated crucial safety messages. The mascot played a significant role in increasing public awareness and engagement, proving to be an invaluable asset in Instituto Banese’s communication strategy.
